Chocolate Chip Cookies🍪


Ingredients

3/4 cup unsalted butter (12tbs)

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs room temperature

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

Course salt for sprinkling

1 1/2 cups dark chocolate and milk chocolate chopped - a little bit more for topping


Preparation

  1. Mix dry ingredients together and set aside. In a small pot, add in butter, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes until golden brown.

  2. Cool the browned butter for 10 minutes, add into your dry mixture. Mixing as you go. (Please don’t over mix) Now add in your eggs and vanilla extract. Mix once more. Lastly gently fold in your chopped chocolates.

  3. Chill your cookie dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

  4. Preheat oven to 350. Roll 1.5 inch balls out of the cookie dough. Add a piece of chocolate on top (optional). Bake for 12 minutes. Sprinkle with course flakey salt and cool for 9 minutes. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream!!! ❤️🍨🍪
