Korean Braised Potatoes šŸ„” Gamja Jorim ź°ģžģ”°ė¦¼

Ingredients

1 lb baby potatoes (the smaller the better)

2 tbs oil

1/3 cup soy sauce

2 tbs sugar

1-2 tbs sesame oil

Toasted sesame seeds


Preparation

  1. In a large pot, place all the potatoes in with just enough water to cover them. Boil on high for 10 minutes.

  2. Drain the water and transfer the potatoes to a large pan.

  3. Add in oil and sautƩ for a few minutes, then add 1 1/2 cups of water, soy sauce, and sugar.

  4. Bring to a boil then lower the heat and cover for 10 minutes.

  5. Remove lid and let simmer for a minute or two to reduce liquid, then add sesame oil.

  6. Plate potatoes and sprinkle on toasted sesame seeds. Let cool and enjoy!
