Zucchini Bread

Ingredients

3 cups flower

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 tbs cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

4 tsp cloves

3/4 cup grated zucchini

3 eggs

1 cup apple sauce

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 tbs vanilla


Preparation

  1. Grease and flour two loaf pans. Preheat oven to 325˚F.

  2. Sift flower, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves together in a bowl.

  3. Beat eggs, vanilla, and sugar together in a separate large bowl, then add sifted ingredients and mix well. Slowly fold in grated zucchini until evenly mixed.

  4. Pour the mix into loaf pans and bake in oven for 50-60 minutes. Poke with a toothpick—it will come out clean if done. Remove and let cool.

  5. Slice and enjoy with your favorite butter!


Honey butter preparation:

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp honey

  1. Mix together, you can whip it in the mixer for a lighter texture. Spread on warm zucchini bread

  2. Enjoy!!
